 Men’s League Cost

  • Members – $30
  • Non-Members – $45 (plus weekly Green Fees)

Men’s league begins with an opening Breakfast Scramble on Sunday May 7th, and wraps up with a Men’s Closing Tournament and dinner on Saturday September 30th. League nights begin on Wednesday May 24th and run for 20 weeks, ending October 4th.

What Is It?
Each week players who hand in a scorecard on Wednesday will be eligible for weekly prizes. Included in the men’s league cost are prizes for games like Closest To The Pin, Longest Putt, Gross and Net Scoring, and random team games. Additionally, there will be weekly optional games like Skins and a Birdie Race that can be entered for a small cost, (entry to these games requires a valid Golf Canada Handicap).
Games will be mainly individual focused which means there isn’t pressure to have to play every week. Show up when you can and submit a scorecard any time you play on Wednesday for your chance at weekly prizes.

What Else?
Closest to the Pin Shootout – All players who win a weekly closest to the pin competition will be eligible for the year end shootout. This is a one swing ‘Winner Take All’ closest to the pin competition taking place after dinner at the Men’s Closing for a great prize.
Stats Race – Stats will be kept for players who opt in like scoring, fairways and greens hit, and putting and will be made available in a weekly report in the clubhouse. This is sure to provide topics for discussion while enjoying the weekly food and beverage specials in the renovated pub, ‘Taps on The Thames’

Events
Men’s Breakfast – This is a kick off tournament to get the league started with teams being randomly selected prior to play. The format will be a scramble following breakfast. (A great way to get to know your fellow men’s league members)
Club Championship – The men’s club will host a Men’s Club Championship in August (Members only)
Men’s Closing – Included in your yearly men’s league cost, this is a wrap up of the season and will be a ‘Better Ball’ tournament followed by dinner and prizes. This is open to all men’s league participants (members and non), who have paid their yearly men’s league dues.
